Wednesday Wisdom
Momentum is a beautiful thing when you get it going. Spirits are high, motivation off the charts, and you feel good! The hard part is just that, maintaining it. In life and in business we all experience times where it is a roller coaster. You’re up, then your down, then you’re up again.
A couple things I have really focused on is keeping an even keel with things and to not ever become complacent. I want to succeed at the highest level, not just for myself… but for my family, my coworkers, and my next in kin. I believe that momentum is gained by consecutive small wins. And it’s maintained by letting that drive you for bigger wins. Not even just in the business world, I’m talking in your day to day. You build the right habits in your diet, your exercise regime, or your studying. Your small wins are having the will power to do the hour workout over the Netflix episodes. Eating the Heathy meal instead of the pizza (it’s hard, I know). All those small wins fuel you in other areas without you even realizing it. Before you know it, you are making the right choices and pushing the right buttons. You’re feeling good, healthy, motivated. At this point the snowballs rolling, and you keep making those small improvements. It’s impossible to in all aspects flip a switch and be on point with everything. Remember it’s the small wins that are going to add up to winning for a long time. Don’t get complacent and remember to always evaluate how you can improve. Best wishes!
